Arsonist lived in 600 block of East McKellips![]()
SNIP A 28-year-old Tempe man was arrested Friday afternoon on the 600 block of East McKellips Road on suspicion of arson in several related incidents over a two-month period, police reported. He was arrested based on physical evidence gathered from two different arsons of occupied structures, according to a police report. During a police interview, the man admitted to multiple other felonies, police reported. The incidents took place over an estimated two-month period and all in an immediate area of the man’s residence, according to a report. A search of the man’s residence revealed multiple stolen items and other evidence related to the crime series, police reported. The man faces four counts of arson to a structure, two counts of arson to an occupied structure, two counts of burglary from a vehicle, one count of burglary from a residence, one count of motor vehicle theft and one count of burglary, according to a report.
