Just checking emails on down time so I don't come back to a hundred of them.
Anyway, this is the person that went straight to the Mayor and Council last week.
They say I didn't respond when I gave them the link to records (as we discussed).
They even include that in the email.
Anyway, just passing it on to you for proper handling.
Thanks and hope its a good week.

Dear Scottsdale City Council Members:
Last Thursday I made this request for public records to Scottsdale Police Department member "David M. #539Pubins" DPUBINS@SCOTTSDALEAZ.GOV asking to view a report of an incident where a man in a blue sweatshirt and a hat was reported setting fires sometime on Saturday June 13.
He has not responded to my e-mail yet. Would you see if you can get him to answer my request. Or find out why it is taking him so long to respond.
As I said in the letter I think the police officer who told me about the alleged arsonist in a blue sweatshirt with a hat made up the whole story. I don't think the incident happened.
I just want to know if the event actually occurred. And if the event did occur I want to come down to the police records and view a copy of the report. I don't want to buy a copy.
A.R.S. 39-121.01.D.1
Any person may request to examine or be furnished
copies, printouts or photographs of any public
record during regular office hours
Thanks
Sarah Westchesterlynn
